Dr. Taylor has served in quite a few capacities which includes: On-site Co-Chair of the Southern Region AACD/Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision Conference in Charleston, South Carolina; President of the South Carolina Association for Counselor Educators and Supervisors (1985-86); Secretary of the South Carolina Personnel and Guidance Association (1983-84) and President of the Tri-County Guidance & Counseling Association (1983-84); Founding Member of the South Carolina Association of School Social Workers (1980) and President of Kappa Kappa Iota Teacher Sorority (1977-78); President of the Green Key Honorary Leadership Society at Jacksonville University (1968-69); and Chair of the Student Legislature at Jacksonville University (1967-68).
